Mobile Banking is offered free to all members. You can check your balance and transfer funds directly at Hartford Healthcare Federal Credit Union on your cell phone.

Using Text Messaging on your Cell Phone:
Key in – 95495 in the “to” line
Key in “hhcu space pin # space command space type of account (eg: hhcu ^1234^ bal^ shdr). (^=space) in the “text” portion of the message.(Remember to put a Space between the HHCU, the pin# and the commands.)
Send your text message.
You will receive a text message back with the information or confirmation of transaction.
Pin #: This is the same pin number as home banking.
Using the pin allows for a member to have multiple accounts using one cell phone number.
bal – share or loan information
hist – transaction history for either share or loan accounts
x – transfer funds between shares and loan accounts
types – list of open share and loan types
help – brief command summary and syntax
stop – remove phone from text banking
tax – IRS totals for the prior tax year
Name of Accounts:
shr – share/ savings accounts
shdr – share draft/checking accounts
L – loan accounts (member must know which loan number it is, refer to “types” command for loan number)
Blocking: Each carrier has their own instructions for people to block receiving certain text messages. They need to refer to their carrier.
Joint Member: The joint member can do text messaging, using the same pin and their own cell phone number. HHFCU must have the joint member's cell phone number on file at HHFCU.
Mobile Banking Text Examples
95495 pin# bal shdr - Sends balance information for the first open share draft account
95495 pin# bal shr 2 - Sends balance information for the regular share number 2 (member must know which account is number 1 and number 2)
95495 pin# bal L1 - Sends balance information for the first open Loan 1. (Member must know the loan number to use this application)
95495 pin# hist shdr- Sends the 6 most recent history transactions for the first open share draft account.
95495 pin# hist more N - If there are more than 6 transactions from an initial history request the member can reply more for the next 6 transactions. N will be a sequential number page number displayed at the bottom of the message. (ie the text message will display “For More, Reply keyword hist more 2”).
95495 pin# hist shr 2 - Sends history for the regular share number 2
95495 pin# x shr 0 shdr0 100 – Transfer $100 from regular share number 0 to share draft number 0. The share numbers are required as well as the types.
95495 pin# x shr 0 L1 0 250.55 – Transfer $250.55 from regular share number 0 to Loan 1 number 0. The share/loan numbers are required as well as the types.
95495 pin# types – Sends open share and loan types for the account number attached to the phone.
95495 pin# help – Sends basic help information
95495 pin# stop – Removes the phone from text banking immediately. The member must log into their home banking settings to reactivate.
95495 pin# tax – Sends year to date IRS tax information for the prior tax year

Remote Deposit Capture as of July 1, 2018:
HHFCU will begin to adopt an additional requirement for endorsement of all RDC checks, such as "For Mobile Deposit Only." Additionally, all Mobile Capture agreements should be changed to require members to include a restrictive endorsement for each mobile deposit.
The TransCapture mobile solution will automatically verify the existence of a restrictive endorsement on the back of deposited checks. If the item does not contain the restrictive endorsement ("For Mobile Deposit Only"), the deposit will be refused, and the member will receive an error message.
